We all go through cycles of satisfaction and dissatisfaction with our work. When you feel as though you’ve lost or you are in the midst of losing creative focus, a fast way to recover is to make a gift of what you love for someone special. Even better, teach them or a group of people how you make the gift. For me, I love talking about how I take my photos and edit them. So, when I feels like I am lost, I will print out some and give them as a gift. And then it doesn’t feel like I am lost anymore, and, actually it feels really good to see the joy on their face(s) and they feel like they learned something new.
