As a photographer, I am trying out new creative ways to take photographs, such as freezing things in ice or shooting abstract water drops. What is appealing to one, may not be to another. We all see and feel things differently. I was taking photos of the autumn leaves and decided to mix it up. So, for this photo, I used a slow shutter speed and moved the camera down- (which is also called panning), as I pressed the shutter button. This created an abstract look to the leave on the grass. I find that if you have the right subject, this type of photography can make for an intriguing photo. It does take a bit of practice as you don’t want to pan too fast, but the end results are worth it.
