It’s the start of the holiday season. So, for this weeks photo of the week, I picked this photo that I took last week in a holiday theme photo class at my local camera store. I brought in some of my decorations to use for photos. This photo was shot with my new Lensbaby Velvet 56. The Velvet 56 is an art lens which allows to me to create impressionistic images at wide apertures (lower f numbers like 2.0, 2.8, 4.0) or create images with a film-like look using smaller apertures- (higher f numbers like 8.0, 11, etc.) I love how this photo turned out. In fact, after the class the instructor printed a small print for me to take home and a larger print which will be on display at the store. I can’t wait to see it!
